Medically-assisted bulimia?

The world is awesome because you can discover new things and build up on them and learn. And other days, you can just have fun with it.

And sometimes, it’s not. I personally think sometimes the world has gotten faaaaaaaaar too complex. The air is thick with mugging, hate, smoking, asthma, diseases that can’t be explained by doctors, and eating disorders.

Yeah, eating disorders. Girls have had a problem with it for a long time now, and now it’s reaching boys too. They’re all under pressure from peers and (cough) media (cough) to not be fat. To stay skinny and Barbie-thin and cute and attractive and popular. (I don’t know why they want to look like Jews and Roman Catholics in haunting concentration camps from World War II, because that’s not how you become popular. I would prefer the word “fit”).

Doctors preach to others, anorexia and bulimia is not the way to go, but follow a healthy diet and exercise well.

So how do you explain AspireAssist Aspiration Therapy System–medically assisted bulimia, with the above in mind?

This is a device that basically sucks the food from your stomach, using a surgically implanted tube and vomits the contents into the toilet.

First of all, this is gross, and secondly, doesn’t this make stomach more prone to infection? Also, don’t you think that this fools people into thinking that this solves the problem because it is medically approved, when it will just cause more problems? (This device might be expensive, get them in debt, and the first and second reasons.)

What the heck, is all I have to say.
