The Picky, the Flexible, and the In-Betweeners’ Guide to Eating (part 1)

I’ve been a little bit of a picky eater at some points. But, picky eaters, listen up.

  • Do not generalize. If you have tried most kinds of seafood but you haven’t tried fried calamari, do not make the assumption that you won’t like fried calamari.
  • Be open to trying new things and foods prepared differently in other countries. Some picky eaters have inconsistencies. If you don’t like beef well done, try beef in Japan. Besides, you never know until you try it.
  • Do not think that just because that food doesn’t look good, you won’t eat it. Looks can be deceitful.
  • Give foods a second chance. If you don’t like the food after that, then it’s okay.
